The Provider Evaluation is typically accessed via the QR codes from the Learner's Page via an invitation from the Orientation Nurse. The intent is to collect feedback regarding the shift from the Provider's perspective. The items being evaluated are the same each time; only four items are evaluated, and typically, it is a limited set from the Daily Learner or Daily Preceptor Evaluation. This provides input on a critical aspect of care that also impacts the Provider such as communication or prioritization.
To complete the evaluation, simply answer each item. Utilize the rubric to guide the answers. Click submit when the evaluation is complete.
The best practice for this evaluation is to utilize the evaluation for specialty roles that interface with the provider often, such as a Triage RN or a Charge RN. The feedback from the Provider Evaluation stands alone. It can only be viewed from the Learner's Page and only on individual results. It does not feed into any reports but can be used to initiate a Learner Action Plan should the feedback warrant it.
