Data points stored on the colleague record are then passed down to all subsequent learner and preceptor records, which are nested. The colleague record is a single point of data entry for and learning or precepting that has or will take place[1],[2].

Footnotes

[1] There are no longer views to create or edit a Learner nor for a Preceptor. Those records are created and maintained via the Colleague record.

[2] The Learner View, Leader Review, and Preceptor Views remain as a more detailed description of the learning or instruction that has taken place for a single role. The Colleague View offers a summary approach.
